PREPARING THE WAY on FEBRUARY 19th
Your Stewardship Committee announces a special stewardship emphasis in early 2012, to conclude on February 19th. Our Miracle Sunday offering will focus on debt reduction in two areas:

The first $75,000 received will pay off a recent loan to Manchaca UMC taken in the late fall, 2011 for purchase of the adjoining Dunkin Property.
Terms of the loan allow the church to make interest-only payments for up to 2 years.

All additional donations or pledges received beyond $75,000 will be applied directly to the loan principal owed for the 2004 construction of the Family Life Center. Manchaca UMC currently owes about $695,000 to the Texas Methodist Foundation on the FLC loan.

On Miracle Sunday, February 19th the Manchaca UMC church family will be provided the opportunity to give over-and-above their regular offerings toward reduction of our indebtedness. YOU can help PREPARE THE WAY for future generations by choosing to contribute a one-time gift or by paying out your contribution over either a 3-month or 6-month period. God has blessed us repeatedly with wonderful facilities in which to work, worship, gather, eat, study, pray, and play. Watch for an informational brochure in the mail. And please prayerfully consider how you might contribute to the success of our Miracle Sunday emphasis.
