  • 8th grade and up:   Youth Room (upstairs in the Education Wing)

  

SPECIAL LENTEN STUDY 

What makes a Hero?  The Death-Fefying Ministry of Jesus Chirst.  Join us for Lent as we explore how Jesus turns the concept of what makes a hero on its head by looking at pop-culture superheroes and the death-defying ministry of Jesus Christ.

Sessions include:
1: Jesus is Not My Hero
2: Jesus Didn't Worry About Doing the Right Thing
3: Yes, Jesus Loves "Them"
4: What Jesus Thinks a Wasted Life Looks Like
5: Jesus Wants a New You
6: Jesus' Death Saves Us All
 
Note: What Makes a Hero studies for adults and children offered during Youth Group (3:00-4:30), beginning February 11.

Middle School Class

  • Location: Room 3 (down the hallway to the West of the Sanctuary)
  • Teachers: Errin Lagow and Rick Bowman
  • Grades: 6-8
     

High School Class

  • Location: Youth Room (upstairs in the Education Wing)
  • Teachers: Ron Mize and Laura Candelaria
  • Grades: 9-11
