At Manchaca UMC, we want children to be seen and heard in worship! So we are creating a team of children who will develop their leadership skills, learn about worship elements, and share their ideas about how our services can be more meaningful and engaging for them.

 

Young Worship Leaders will:

• Learn about worship through fun activities and Bible stories

• Train for specific leadership roles (such as hospitality, liturgists, acolytes, ushers, communion stewards)

• Create liturgies, art, and movement to include in our worship services

• Share experiences and ideas to help shape worship into a more meaningful, engaging experience for all ages
