The United Methodist Men are collecting men’s clothing for the
Clothes Closet. The Clothes Closet serves men experiencing
homelessness. The Clothes Closet’s mission is to provide clothing and
other life needs that bless people experiencing homelessness with a
new sense of dignity, improved self-image, and HOPE for the future.
The Clothes Closet depends on donations of all types of men’s
apparel. Running shoes, blue jeans (size 26 to 36), backpacks,
wheeled suitcases and dufflebags are needed year-round. Donations
of winter items are critical: winter coats, gloves, knit caps, and
sleeping bags. Donations may be left here at MUMC Sunday mornings
(9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) or Wednesday afternoons (1-2:30 p.m.).

Please bring your donations to MUMC on Sundays (9:30 am-12:30 pm) or on Wednesdays (1-2:30 pm). Please place clearly marked bagged or boxed items in room 8.
