Food Pantry News 11/03

A basket full of pumpkins, corn cobs, and pinecones, all in various fall colors

Your food pantry staff continues to work to process and distribute your generous donations to those in need. A thankful shout out goes to Susana Dunlap, Liz Singhurst and the members of Girl Scout Troop #44044. The cadettes, Sara Dunlap, Ruby Singurst, Liliana Contreras, and Maggie Herndon, have volunteered to sort food donations and check and pull outdated items. These are necessary but time-consuming tasks and we are very grateful to this group of young women for their assistance with our mission.

We are grateful for your continued donations of non-perishable food, paper products and personal hygiene items. As a part of our annual November food drive, please consider donating a $25 HEB gift card or the equivalent monetary amount to provide a needy family with a holiday meal. We are accepting these donations now for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Learn more here.

Finally, please save and donate any gently used paper and plastic grocery sacks for use by the food pantry volunteers. We have an ongoing need for these items to sack and distribute the food and paper products.

Thank you again for your continued generous support! Without you, it would not be possible!
